It is for anyone who is looking to relieve stress, increase energy, stretch and strengthen muscles, become more relaxed and balanced mentally and physically and deepen their understanding of yoga postures (asana) in a steady, progressive and accessible manner.
The yoga classes are a more traditional Hatha style with a focus on proper body alignment, breath connection and mindfulness. A typical class will focus on a specific category of poses e.g. hip openers or spine stretching and strengthening. The course will also break apart and teach the classical warm up sequence of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations).
